Outdoor furniture can spruce up your out space, be it a garden, a balcony or a backyard. Maintenance of the outdoor furniture becomes equally important as being stored in the outer area; it is more prone to seasonal effects.

Outdoor furniture is the prime reason for making the evenings more complacent. A swing in the outdoors, chairs, or the outdoor tables, every furniture besides accentuating your outdoor area, offer you a relaxed atmosphere. But, if not maintained properly, the outdoor furniture can loose its charm. It is essential to clean your outdoors at least twice a month with a mild solution. Do not get duped with the advertisements of harsh liquids which may eventually deprive your furniture of its natural shine. You can use some natural solutions which you can make quickly at your home without spending a huge amount:

1. Baking soda solution:
If you have a resin outdoor furniture than baking soda solution can serve the purpose at its best. The acerbic solutions may harm your furniture and may even spoil the surface. But a baking soda solution being mild, doesn't cause any scratch or dullness on the surface, and clean it finely at the same time. You can use a sponge to apply the solution. For better results wipe in circular motions and then rinse well. The solution can even remove the coarse ink strains.

2. Bleach:
Bleach is the best cleanser for plastic furniture. It can remove harsh stains and give a redefined look to your furniture. Mix a half cup of bleach with a mild detergent and dissolve it in approximately 3 litres of water. Rinse it, clean and then allow to dry. Do not use the bleach solution to clean wooden furniture.

3. Vinegar solution:
To remove mustiness from wooden furniture, vinegar solution can be used. Being mild, it doesn't harm the furniture and can remove the mildew easily.
You can simply spray the vinegar solution wherever you see a mildew growth, the solution removes the stain and prevents it from coming back.

4. Ammonia solution:
For corners and tight spaces, you can remove the harsh stains by applying a mixture of a cup of ammonia, 1/2 cup white vinegar, and 1/4 cup baking soda in 3 litres of water. You can apply the solution with the help of a tooth brush to remove the scraps in the corners.

5. Dish washing detergents:
To wash the outdoor cushions, you can use the solution of warm water, one teaspoon detergent and one tablespoon of borax. The solution can be applied through sponge on the cushions or through a simple spray. Pay more attention to the creases and crevices. Allow the cushion to stand for 15 minutes and then rinse the solution off with a strong force of water, allow them to dry.

6. Laundry soaps:
To clean the canvas furniture, you can use laundry soaps. Scrub the brush on the canvas with back and forth motion after applying the soap on the brush. This method can even remove bird droppings and other harsh stains, giving an aerated look to your furniture.
