California's government announced a new rule surrounding medical abortion of women. The matter ongoing with colleges, to allow abortion pills, Jerry Brown would be the person to decide if women attending public universities would have access to them at campus health centers.

Furthermore, the current rules state women can receive the two-pill dose of mifepristone and misoprostol from doctors up to nine or 10 weeks of the 1st day of the last menstruation. They can be taken at home with the move being approved. The effect is quite similar to menstruation, just would create heavy bleeding and cramps.

Senate Connie Levya, D Chino has been the key person in introducing the Senate Bill 320. This would provide the students much greater access for the early pregnancy termination, without delayed transportation or missing classes.

Approval of the bill came up with 26 to 13 vote.

Levya also had proposed a similar statement in 2017. Consequently, it stated that all schools of California State University and the University of California offer abortion medication, which would be further optional in private and community colleges.

The proposal of the move would perhaps allot around $200,000 in the private money grant. This will go on to each student health center to cover up the costs of implementing the abortion program, with $200,000 to each university system.
