Wimbledon Cufflink Company can now produce country-specific cufflinks for men who are proud of their nationality and wish to display that fact to the world by wearing cufflinks that represent a symbol of their heritage.

The company already produces cufflinks for many different countries, including our four home nations – England, Scotland, Wales, and Ireland - together with cufflinks for Canada, the USA, France, Germany, and Spain.

The English cufflinks include the Royal Oak, named after King Charles II, who hid in an oak tree after being defeated by the Roundheads at the Battle of Worcester in 1651. These glorious cufflinks feature the English Oak in gold on a dark green background and are an inspiration for every man who is proud to call himself English.

Then there are the Three English Lions which were adopted by the Plantagenets in the late 12th century as the Royal Coat of Arms and were followed by several other monarchs including Richard the Lionheart, Henry V, and Queen Elizabeth I. These cufflinks are available with the lions in gold on a red background, or silver on a black background.

The company also produces the St. George and the Dragon cufflinks in silver on a bright red background. St. George slayed the dragon who was laying siege to a city, and whose princess was to be sacrificed to protect the city from it. St. George became Patron Saint of England and to this day his feast day of April 23rd is still celebrated by Englishmen.

The Scottish Lion dates from the same century and is offered in silver on a dark blue background. In heraldry, the lion symbolizes bravery, valour, and the strength and royalty that is associated with the king of beasts. These are cufflinks for men north of the border who are proud to stand up and be counted.

There is also the Irish Shamrock in gold on blue, and the Welsh Dragon in gold – not red – on white. This is after the Welsh hero Owain Glyndwr whose flag was a gold dragon on white background.
