Muscular Moving Men, the country’s fastest-growing moving company, will broaden its brand outside the Phoenix area on Wednesday, Aug. 1, when it opens its first ever out-of-state location in Troy, Michigan. The Michigan store is the first of what will become 60+ locations throughout the country over the next 10 years.

Corporately owned by Muscular Moving Men, the family-run Michigan facility will train and hold its employees to the same high standards the company is known for. Muscular Moving Men was established in 2008 when best friends and founders Justin Hodge and Josh Jurhill began moving customers with their own muscles. In just 10 years, Muscular Moving Men out-moved the competition, growing to 80 employees and moving 20,000 families and businesses.

“Ten years ago, Josh and I were two 20-somethings looking to make a buck moving families on the side with a borrowed trailer and truck. Today, our business has expanded beyond our wildest dreams,” Hodge said. “We have every intention of making the next 10 years even more successful by providing quality, respectful, financially efficient moves to families throughout the country.”

For years, Muscular Moving Men has playfully named trucks for action stars and notable heroes. In the Phoenix Az. area, the business has trucks named for Arnold, Jean Claude, Rambo and more. They will do the same in the Michigan market, with trucks named “Yzerman” and “Lidström” for Stephen Yzerman and Nicklas Lidström, Detroit Red Wings alumni.
