Today lacrosse has become one of the fastest growing sports among the youth in America. The lacrosse has a tremendous positive impact on the players. This includes cardiovascular, strength and mental benefits. Have a look at the benefits that you can expect with playing lacrosse -

Work for your mental acuity

It is important to be disciplined in order to play lacrosse. It needs a great persistence and time to develop the skills for it. Apart from the mental discipline, you can also reap the benefits that regular exercise can provide you. It will further improve your mental performance as well as mood.

Attain the cardiovascular endurance

Lacrosse demands constant running up and down a field that lasts between 1-2 hours. Indeed, it is going to help you burn your calories and building the required strength in your lungs and heart.
Learn to be more social

Playing lacrosse will not only let you teach social interactions, but will also teach you how to work well with others. The lacrosse players need to accomplish their goals together and they need the help of others to do so.

Learn coordination with lacrosse

Imagine how difficult it will be to catch a lacrosse ball in the middle of a game with defenders around you who are trying to steal the ball away. This makes it important for the players to work on their motor skills and hand-eye coordination.

A full-body workout

While playing lacrosse, you will find yourself in a number of different positions. Indeed, you need a strong core and a great running throughout. Just think about the long lacrosse field where you need to run while playing. It demands a high-impact aerobic activity, thus allowing the players to burn calories per hour. Burning off excess calories will definitely help you in losing the excess weight.
