This press release was written to inform the readers that Galen Stone from Marion coordinated all special events at Life Resources Inc.

 
Possessing a solid experience of nine years at Life Resources Inc, Galen Stone served as Director of Fundraising where he supervised all aspects of fundraising for the agency. It included annual and strategic planning, annual appeal, corporate giving and special gifts. He also assisted in producing the agency video and coordinated all the special events.

Being the Program Director at Phaneuf Youth Center, Galen Stone was responsible for all the aspects of program operations. He worked for a Brockton based 16-bed short-term intensive treatment program that was meant for 13-18 year old boys committed to DYS. Besides, he created a short-term intensive treatment model for the state. For his contribution towards Phaneuf Youth Center, Galen received an 11-year contract with 100% rating under intense standards, thus meeting all the proposed requirements. Indeed, the contract was the highest rating and longest-term contract in Massachusetts State History.

Providing individual and family counselors to the clients at New Life Counseling, Inc, Marion based Galen Stone always aimed at providing the best counseling experience. He clarified the problems and examined what solutions had already been attempted. He gathered information about his client’s past, his personal style as well as the relationship pattern.

Serving as a part time caregiver, Galen Stone from Marion provided the services to the two men on the private contract basis. Out of the two, one was suffering from Alzheimer’s disease. He personally believed that caring for a person with this disease teaches you unexpected lessons that have a lasting impression on your lives. Here, Galen dispensed medications, cooked, cleaned and played games with them.

About Galen Stone

Previously employed as the program director and care manager at Brockton Area Multi-Services, Inc., Marion based Galen Stone worked on developing and holding multiple roles in pilot program for the state. Besides, he also served as the program director and care manager of CFFC program in Brockton. This program was created as a response to the lawsuits initiated by parents due to their children receiving inadequate services through state run programs. He was solely responsible for coordination of wraparound services for more than 50 at-risk families within Brockton, facilitating meetings and services on all fronts on behalf of the children and their families. He conducted home-based therapeutic services while working with youth and their families.
