Pieter Stalenhoef, a respected professional in the financial services industry, was an active member of the Phi Delta Theta fraternity during his academic years. While attending both the University of Vermont and Boston University’s School of Management, he engaged in multiple academic and social organizations, including the Beta Gamma Sigma honor society, a distinction awarded to top business students globally.
Pieter began his finance career as a Crosby Advisors Investment Associate at Fidelity Investments, where he was responsible for directing trading activities across both domestic and international markets. He later joined Evergreen Investments, initially as a Senior Research Assistant before advancing to Investment Analyst, further honing his research and equity valuation skills.
Currently, Pieter Stalenhoef has been with Wells Fargo Asset Management for over eight years. He plays a key role in analysis, valuation, and security selection for the Wells Fargo Global Opportunities Fund, a highly regarded small- to mid-cap portfolio that has earned a 4-star Morningstar rating.
Outside of his professional career, Pieter enjoys spending time outdoors—he is passionate about tennis, skiing, and cycling. Beyond finance, he also has creative ambitions as an aspiring chef and novelist.
