Will Heikkinen attended Nebrija University in Madrid, Spain. He studied Spanish Language and Culture, and this is the type of experience that sticks with you throughout the entirety of your life. While he was there, he worked for Canterbury English when he was not in the classroom. This is a company that provides English language training to Spanish students in their own homes. He had the opportunity to teach children while he was a student in his own right.

In addition to his interest in all things Spanish, he is also fascinated by political theories. When Will Heikkinen went back to the United States after his stint in Spain, he decided that he would combine his two primary scholastic interests. He enrolled in the College of William and Mary, which is a public research institution that was founded in 1693. It is actually the second oldest institution of higher learning in the United States. He is majoring in Government, so he can build on his knowledge of political theories and practices. Plus, he is also continuing his Spanish education. His minor at William and Mary is Hispanic Studies.

When you have two different interests, they can sometimes dovetail into one larger interest with multiple different facets. In this case, Will Heikkinen is setting himself up nicely for the future.
