Wild Watch Peru, a tourist guide company built on family virtues, today announced its high end Manu rainforest trip aimed at raising awareness towards nature conservation.

The company prides itself as one of the oldest in the Peruvian rainforests, having been guiding tourists into the rich forest for years. Apart from offering tour guidance, Wild Watch Peru started various nature conservation initiatives in the region to educate the locals about the importance of conserving the surroundings to be ecotourism. Today, the Manu rainforest region maintains one of the most natural ecosystems on the planet, said the company. This has greatly boosted Manu rainforest adventure tours, with tourists coming into the region to spend their vacations closer to nature in its most natural form. The family based tourism company said that it uses tour guides who are locals of the Manu region with a better understanding of the forest.

Wild Watch Peru read out the itinerary it intends to use for the rainforest trip. The trip is set to begin from the firm’s lodges, where tourists will be taken into the rainforest with local tour operators. The journey will go through the Manu Park River where those seeking out rafting sports will enjoy the calm and nature rich river. The Manu Park River tours will also be accompanied by bird watching. One of the local tour guides explained that the park forms one of the most cherished locations by various bird species hence making it a favorite birdwatchers’ haven for tourists.

In some of the trips that Wild Watch Peru has conducted before, the company said for a single 2 week birdwatching trip from the highlands to Manu National Park, tourists recorded over 500 different species for each trip. The large number of birds species is attributed to the company’s continued efforts to conserve the rainforest thus making it a haven for most wild animals and plants of the rainforest.

Wild Watch explained that during its Manu National Park tours, tourists often enjoy their highly luxurious lodges with the highest level of simplicity. The tour company said that every operational system in the lodge is built to meet an eco-friendly surrounding. They have implemented highly innovative methods of harnessing solar energy to power every part of the lodge.

Since the company is family based, all its tours are specially designed to suit families. In its trip, the tourism firm explained that those coming with their families will be given special rates. Families will also enjoy mouthwatering cuisines, breathe fresh breeze of the mountains and watch attractive landscapes, vegetation, birds and animals. Some of the attractions set to be visited during the Manu national park trip include Tambopata, Machupicchu, Manu Park River and the national park. The itinerary is set to be highly exploitative, according to the company. They said they would not want to reveal everything about the tour as it would ruin the joy of surprises and discoveries.

Traditionally, Wild Watch Peru runs its tours throughout the year, hence this tours aimed at helping conserve the surrounding will be part of the normal tour plans of the year but with a slightly different agenda.
