[BIRMINGHAM, January 2022 - ] Having been cancelled as a physical show in 2021, the upcoming Spring Fair at the Birmingham NEC is set to be a return to form for the calendar’s big trade event.

The 6-9 February show is also the first since pre-pandemic times for Wild Things Gifts, who are planning on more than just a cursory appearance. Making up for lost time, they will be showing off a raft of brand new products set to shake up the gift industry.

Their exhibition in Hall 4 (stand A42) will feature the very first unveiling of their upcoming handmade collectables. Key highlights making their debut include:

Window Jewels™: A curated collection of Wild Things’ most popular motifs to date, reworked in spectacular golden metallics with stained glass effects

Angels In My Window™: An expansive offering to meet the increased demand for spiritual-themed collectables

The Collector’s Cabinet™: A versatile display to maximise any retail space

The new developments have been long in the coming and anticipation is riding high. “We don’t introduce new products unless we’re extremely confident of high sell-through rates, and these are no exception,” explains Jules Vahrman, director of Wild Things.

“We spent the entirety of the pandemic – a whole two years – in research and development to make sure that these items were on another level.”

Part of the research phase involved getting feedback from a seasoned gift seller. Something Different of Swindon, a long-time customer of Wild Things, were treated to a sneak preview of the exhibit ahead of Spring Fair.

“I’m absolutely blown away by these,” responded Ross Mulholland, shop owner. “This would make for a fantastic window display; I’ll definitely be ordering all of these when they’re available.”

Looking forward to the Birmingham show, Jules Vahrman adds: “In the current climate, you can’t just tread water. Wild Things is all about evolution, and we can’t wait to show off that next step at Spring Fair 2022.”
