Hartford, CT, October 29, 2014 -- A dramatic mirrored stainless steel sculpture from Connecticut artist Joe Gitterman’s “Gesture” series has been added to the Bushnell Plaza Sculpture Garden. The “Yin & Yang” piece was created at Gitterman’s Washington Depot studio. It will remain on display for six months.

“I am honored and humbled to have one of my pieces included in this wonderful collection,” Mr. Gitterman said. The objects in the sculpture garden are part of the EnvisionFest Hartford event that include works by other prominent Connecticut artists, Ann Mallory, Jonathan Waters, Denis Curtiss, Tom Doyle, Peter Kirkiles, David Skora, David Hayes and Brian Walters.

In addition to the Bushnell Garden exhibit, Mr. Gitterman’s works are now on display at the Governor’s Sculpture Garden in Hartford, the Royal Sonesta Houston in Texas, and in private collections throughout the country.
