SANFORD, Fla. (July 21, 2022)- July or December, it’s always hot at Spice is Nice. The international heat market is getting into the holiday spirit at Christmas in July.

Spice is Nice is participating in Historic Downtown Sanford’s Christmas in July event Saturday, July 30 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. with special “holiday” deals and discounts.

During the event guests can travel along the streets of Historic Downtown Sanford and pop in local shops, restaurants, and art galleries. Participating venues will offer a preview of holiday items and deals as well as specialty drinks and bites to eat. Visitors will be given a passport which they can stamp along the way for a chance to be entered in a raffle. The winner will receive gift cards from local stores from the Sanford Mercantile Association.

“We may be spicy, but I’d like to think we are on the nice list,” said Dino Ferri, creator and owner of Spice is Nice. “I love being part of the Historic Downtown Sanford community and participating in these events. Christmas in July is a great way to check out local businesses and have a great time.”

During the holiday event Spice is Nice is offering “mystery bags.” Customers can purchase bags starting at $20 with a variety of mystery ingredients of greater value from the shop inside. With Spice is Nice you’re bound to get some interesting flavors and lots of heat. Gift cards to the shop will also be given away at the passport raffle drawing.

Spice is Nice is located at 106 S Palmetto Avenue in Sanford and open Wednesday and Thursday 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., Fridays 10 a.m. to 7 p.m., Saturdays 10 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. and Sundays 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.
