Food, fun for everyone in Orlando, Daytona Beach with a Florida favorite

ORLANDO, Fla. (May 3, 2022) – When you’re down in the Florida Keys, you know where the party is – Sloppy Joe’s. But what if you want to bring the whole family out to enjoy the unbeatable island-inspired faire and live entertainment in Central Florida?

Orlando and Daytona Beach locals and tourists can get the perfect, family-friendly experience at Sloppy Joe’s! The ICON Park and Ocean Walk Shoppes locations center around the concept’s tried-and-true recipes, and family friendly fun. However, there’s still plenty of fun to go around from nightly live entertainment to a Key West sunset toast.

“Sloppy Joe’s is known for its parties, but the reason people keep coming back is because of the food,” said David Manuchia, president of Restaurant Partners, Inc. “Our Orlando and Daytona Beach locations bring all the same fun as the original concept, but in a family-friendly atmosphere that focuses on the great eats.”

When you’re visiting Sloppy Joe’s with the family, the best way to get started is with one of the large, sharable appetizers. Choose from options like the Sloppy Nachos – a mound of chips covered in the world-famous sloppy joe mix, black beans, cheese sauce, lettuce, tomato and sour cream – or try to conquer the Boatload of Onion Rings stacked sky high. Of course, if you’d like to pay homage to the restaurant’s namesake, nothing screams Key West like seafood. The Firecracker Shrimp and Conch Fritter appetizers bring the heat. The hand battered conch nuggets come served with spicy remoulade and the crispy shrimp are tossed in a spicy firecracker sauce.

Sloppy Joe’s is home to a number of signature dishes, but nothing compares to the 1 Lb. BLT. That’s one full pound of applewood smoked bacon, lettuce, vine-ripe tomatoes and mayo, all stuffed into a giant toasted sesame seed bun. You can try to take on the challenge by yourself, but you’ll probably need to call in the whole family to finish it off! If you’re looking for a smaller, but still generous, portion size, try the tender marinated Sirloin Steak Tips or the San Marcos Seafood Mac ‘N Cheese with lobster, shrimp and lump crab in a creamy four cheese sauce with twisted noodles, served hot from the oven with melted cheese. Or stick with the classics, like Sloppy Joe’s fresh, never frozen, hand-battered Coconut Shrimp. For the lighter appetite try the North Palm Beach Salad with avocado, roasted corn, tomato, shrimp salad and lump crab. or the Duval & Greene Cobb salad with all your classic ingredients.

Kids 12 and under can enjoy a menu of their own with kid-approved options such as chicken tenders, mini corndogs, popcorn shrimp, cheeseburgers and more.

No meal is complete without dessert and Sloppy Joe’s pulls out all the stops. The Triple Chocolate Sundae is every kid’s (and adult’s) dream with fresh-baked Ghirardelli brownies covered in vanilla ice cream, mounds of whipped cream and cherries served in a giant Margarita glass, drizzled with chocolate sauce. The authentic Key Lime Pie is also a must if you want your own little slice of Key West.

In addition to its amazing eats, Sloppy Joe’s has plenty of libations. Mom and dad can toast with favorites like the Sloppy Rita, Key West Colada or Mango Mai Tai, while kids can cheers with fun, non-alcoholic drinks like the Pina Berry Daiquiri or the Strawberry Sensation.

The Orlando location at ICON Park is located at 8371 International Dr Suite 60. The Daytona Beach location at Ocean Walk Shoppes is located at 250 N. Atlantic Ave.
