The dog days of summer are here in Central Florida. Locals, tourists, art lovers and attractions enthusiasts are invited to cool off as you are transported into a stunning visual adventure of the life of Lonely Dog!

During the month of June, The Lonely Dog Immersive Experience is teaming up with local charity Happy Trails Animal Rescue, a nonprofit animal rescue group serving the Central Florida area. In honor of their food bank’s 5-year anniversary, guests who visit The Lonely Dog Immersive Experience can donate and drop off food items daily, between 11 a.m. and 7 p.m., for local dogs in need.

Happy Trails Animal Rescue is currently low on their supply right now and is the only pet food bank in Orange County which serves over 10,000 families. Donations can help ensure pets have a chance at a happy and healthy life.

The Lonely Dog Immersive Experience, located at 4950 International Drive in Orlando, tells the story of a misunderstood orphan who overcomes bullies to become a legend whose music heals a divided society of posh cats and working-class dogs in the fictional world of Alveridgea, as animated paintings, 3D imagery, and original music are projected throughout the digital theater for an immersive, 30-minute cinematic show.

This unique attraction also includes an art gallery, featuring nearly 40 pieces of artwork by Clarke that inspired the story, starring Lonely Dog, Celia Crème, and other hound and feline characters; a virtual reality lounge that allows guests to fly alongside Lonely Dog on a journey that soars through the skies and dives into the depths of the sea while wearing virtual reality goggles; a selfie salon where guests can snap a picture with their favorite Lonely Dog character and share it on social media; and an art studio where aspiring artists can complete some of Clarke’s most cherished dog and cat paintings, then see their masterpiece projected on a giant Coloring Fun Art Wall.
