The awards ceremony will take place on March 6 2025 (the eve eve of International Women’s Day), at Manchester Central Convention Complex, bringing together leaders and advocates for an inspiring evening of recognition and celebration

Following over 1,400 nominations in 2024, the 2025 Awards aim to uncover even more influential figures committed to advancing gender equality.


Now in its ninth year, the Northern Power Women Awards (NPW Awards), which is the largest event celebrating gender equality in Europe, have become a symbol of recognition for those who tirelessly work towards establishing gender balance in workplaces and advocating for equality throughout the North.

These highly anticipated Awards showcase the outstanding accomplishments of individuals who are setting new benchmarks for gender equality in the North. Set to celebrate even more role models in 2025, with nominations still open, the Northern Power Women Awards have unveiled Barclays and Bank of America as the 2025 co-headline partners.

Simone Roche MBE, CEO of We Are Power and the Northern Power Women Awards shared her excitement for the new co-headline partnership, stating:
