Hundreds of military families struggle to make ends meet, especially during the holidays, and have little to no budget for celebrations. We Are One, Inc. helps military families make the most of the festive season with their financial assistance services.

We Are One, Inc. is a non-profit charitable organization that was founded by Duane Thompson earlier this year. The organization is committed to helping military families live happier, more comfortable lives. The organization aims to become a source of comfort and support for families within the military community and help them overcome financial hurdles. With their emergency support, financial assistance program, donation campaigns, and care packages, We Are One, Inc has fast gained a reputation for being a reliable charitable organization that serves military families.

As a retired Marine Corps Officer herself, Duane Thompson is no stranger to the challenges military personnel and their families encounter. Speaking about this, she stated, “Having witnessed holiday blues firsthand, I want to play my part in helping military families have happy, memorable holidays.

Many families are unable to participate in the festivities because of the financial stress that comes with living paycheck to paycheck. This is why We Are One, Inc. has launched its donation program in Southern California, encouraging both individual and corporate donations”.

Setting annual goals worth $3,000–$4,000 of gifts, food, and clothing certificates, as well as financial relief assistance, the organization has worked tirelessly to help military families be provided with things they need during the holidays. It has also launched an Acts of Kindness campaign that has helped bring people together and share their experiences. From collecting care packages for military personnel to providing military families with a wide range of amenities, We Are One, Inc. has gone out of their way to make sure they have a smooth holiday season.

In addition to this, the organization has also put together care packages for active service members who are deployed outside the United States to cheer them up and boost their morale. Military families and veterans based in Southern California have benefited tremendously from their services. The organization aims to have more people sign up for its volunteer and financial assistance programs in the following year.
