Phoenix, AZ – Get Your Move On LLC, a company local to the Phoenix Metropolitan area does more than commercial and residential moves. This year, they were the equipment transporters for the annual Autism Speaks walk, held in Tempe, Arizona.

Owner of Get Your Move On, Derek Greene, has a son on the Autism spectrum. This event is close to home for him, and he donates the services of his company, both for the moving trucks and labor. Every year, they help move tables, sound equipment, registration materials, chairs and more, free of charge.

Not only did Greene have a team of his own and participate in the walk, but he donated the services of his men and trucks to be used to make the walk a little easier. As someone with personal experience with ASD, it is important to him to give back. As Greene stated, “every year we do this and it feels great to watch my guys be able to give back and help others and have fun while raising money for research.”
This giving back to the community is a driving force behind this local business. Their core business principles are based on forming relationships, and helping others is a part of this goal.
