Japan specialist travel agency, KIE/Kintetsu International Express, in association with WBC and MLB has been selected as the sole preferred travel provider of travel packages to Japan, for the 2013 WBC series.

These Packages Includes Roundtrip Airfare, 6 Night Hotel Accommodations with Breakfast, Series Game Tickets (at an extra charge), Hotel Taxes and Fees for either series in Tokyo or Fukuoka.

New York, NY, February 06, 2013 -- Japan specialist travel agency, KIE/Kintetsu International Express, in association with WBC and MLB has been selected as the sole preferred travel provider of travel packages to Japan, for the 2013 WBC series. The packages feature accommodations for 6 nights or less for the WBC games in Tokyo or Fukuoka. The packages include the departure cities of New York, Chicago, Los Angeles and San Francisco.

The World Baseball Classic is an international baseball tournament sanctioned by the International Baseball Federation (IBAF) and created by Major League Baseball (MLB), the Major League Baseball Players Association (MLBPA), and other professional baseball leagues and their players associations around the world. The 2009 Classic, the second edition of the event, was won by Japan for the second tournament in a row. Deluxe B: Subway (Kuko-line): 250 yen, one-way (from Fukuoka-kuko to Hakata Station), then 1 minute walk from Exit East 5 /OR/ Taxi - approximately 10 minutes and 1,500 yen (minimum)


The tournament is the first of its kind to have national baseball teams feature professional players from the major leagues around the world including Major League Baseball. In addition to providing a format for the best baseball players in the world to compete against one another while representing their home countries, the World Baseball Classic was created in order to further promote the game around the globe.
MLB Network will televise all 39 games of the 2013 World Baseball Classic to be played in March, and will also be the exclusive English-language telecast partner in the United States for the 2017 tournament.
The third edition of the Classic, which features the world's best players from 16 countries and territories that qualify, will be played in seven venues in four nations and territories from March 2-19.
The semifinals and finals will take place March 17-19 at AT&T Park in San Francisco. Second-round games hosted by the Miami Marlins will be held from March 12-16 at Marlins Park, and at Tokyo Dome in Japan. First-round competition will be hosted by the Arizona Diamondbacks and held from March 7-10 at Chase Field in Phoenix and Salt River Fields at Talking Stick in Scottsdale, Ariz.
