Madrid, Spain, July 03, 2013 - The new spain.info portal allows visitors to reserve everything they need for their trip to Spain.

Eleven years after it came into being, spain.info will enable tourists to make reservations for everything they need on their trip to Spain, be it transport, accommodation or additional offers. Travel and all the other products on offer can be selected on the spain.info page, but are sold on travel agency sites.

A flight comparison tool will show results for over 800 airlines, along with online availability, obtained from 400 sources comprising travel agencies and regular and low cost airlines. Soon this tool will also offer ticket reservations for performances, museums and restaurants, as well as tourist experiences.

This new tool is of key importance to the Spanish tourism sector, since six out of every 10 tourists who travelled to Spain in 2012 had previously looked for information on the Internet. Some 59% of them reserved their transport, accommodation or other services online, while 56% paid for their holiday on the Internet.

The website is available in 18 languages and 25 versions adapted to traditional tourist source markets and emerging ones such as Brazil, China, Russia and India, making it a “unique” element in strengthening the Marca España.
