The third edition of the Severo Ochoa Programme to identify identity five new research centers of excellence will be held at the end of July.

 
Madrid, Spain, July 11, 2013 - The third edition of the Severo Ochoa Programme to identify identity five new research centers of excellence will be held at the end of July.

The Severo Ochoa Programme of Excellence not only rewards research centers in Spain , But Also Provides each of Them With One million euros over a four-year period. This Strengthens Spanish research excellence and science.

Already Altogether there are 13 centers of excellence . At the last event, the winning centers were the Centre for Genomic Regulation and the Institute of High Energy Physics, Both of Which are in Barcelona, the Doñana Biological Station (Seville), the Institute of Theoretical Physics (Madrid) and the Institute of Chemical Technology (Valencia). The award lasts for four years, and the projects receive four million euros over this time period.
