The Government's Objective is Cospedal Maintaining Gamesa Jobs

He believes that Castilla-La Mancha can not be the hardest hit in the development strategy of the company

 
Spain, June 17, 2013 - The Minister of Employment and the Economy of Castilla-La Mancha, Carmen Home, said that the Government of Cospedal will be very demanding and Gamesa in Albacete, since our goal is to maintain of the jobs of a company that, as they themselves say, has future economic path.

In this sense, Home has insisted that the talks with the company are being very strict to achieve safeguard the interests of workers.

The Minister of Employment and the Economy, which has met with the Works Council with the president of the Provincial de Albacete, Francisco Núñez and the Mayor of Albacete, Carmen Bayod, said that in Castilla-La Mancha we will continue to support renewable energy, especially wind, and therefore, we believe that there are alternatives to Gamesa continues to maintain its plant in our region.

Home also has expressed its dissatisfaction with Castilla-La Mancha is the hardest hit in the strategy Gamesa wants to develop for the future, especially considering that workers have shown great professionalism over the years.

Therefore, the minister insisted that the Government's interest in the case Cospedal Gamesa is not new and we are working to make this company does not close in the province of Albacete.

For their part, representatives of the Works Council thanked the Government's support to the workers and the work they are carrying out meetings at the highest level, to ensure that Gamesa to further develop its business in the province of Albacete.
