DATE AND TIME: To Be Announced.

Environmental/Wildlife Charitable component: Every year Step UP Pets will do its part to make a difference in the lives of real animals and the planet that we all share by donating a part of proceeds to charities that help protect endangered species or support other pressing environmental needs.

Project is already in year 3. That means the risk and guesswork—research, development, etc.—is behind us. Step UP Pets is already a proven winner!

Step UP Pets is a mirrored name (Hint: Take a second look at the first and last words of name.) Okay, maybe not relevant, but cool, right?

Licensing of favorite characters is already being discussed and planned for.

The funding goal of Step UP Pets’ campaign is $14,500, though it will take twice that to solidly secure the first small run of plush stools. There are perks and fun rewards for those who join in to help and pay it forward.

About:
Adam Schechtman made his first sale at age five—selling all the coat hangers in his family’s home so he could buy an ice cream cone. Today, the entrepreneur has attracted attention from more than his neighbors. A number of big (and small) box retailers love his invention Step UP Pets and have placed orders. He’s set now, right? Not quite…

Anyone who has successfully sold a retail product knows that securing an order is just the beginning. That order has to be filled, with product that costs money upfront to manufacture— meaning heavy bucks to fulfill minimum quantity order (MMQ) that few inventors have on hand. Many entrepreneurs, like Schechtman, are taking to crowdfunding.

“The bare naked truth is that I'm at a crucial crossroad in this venture after facing some tough obstacles along the way and finally getting some wins,” says Schechtman. “Now we have to fulfill our promise and get production underway to satisfy orders.”

About the Press Conference and our Host: We are very excited to announce it will be hosted by broadcaster, Mike Hayes.

Mike is a veteran of CNN-TV News and Movie Reviewer in Los Angeles, and for 25 years, he has interviewed hundreds of world-class entrepreneurs and startup leaders. Over the past four years, Mike has been interviewing crowdfunding campaigners around the world, and learned about everything there is to know about crowdfunding startup projects.

Mike Hayes chose to help the Step UP Pets project and our crowdfunding campaign because of what he saw in us and his proven product prognostication experience, as Editor of The Product Prognosticator Column for DRTV Magazine (that’s where the “Top Sharks” of the direct response industry were recruited to help market projects).

Join the Fun for 30 minutes.
