New App Update Allows Diners in Pittsburgh to Remotely Add Their Name to the Wait Lists of More Restaurants and Sync with Social Media Accounts

Pittsburgh, PA - The restaurant seating management service NoWait today announces a new update to their local consumer dining app. The app, which allows diners to remotely search nearby restaurant waits and add their name to a wait list, now includes more restaurants, new sharing features and syncs with users Facebook and Twitter accounts.

Similar to check-ins on Foursquare, NoWait users can now let friends know when theyve added their name to a restaurant wait list by turning on the Facebook sharing feature, which will post where youre waiting in line. The apps new Facebook integration features will also allow users to invite friends to download the app through Facebook and Twitter. If desired, users can also turn on a setting that will send push notifications when new nearby restaurants have started using NoWait.

First launched in September, NoWaits consumer dining app is the first of its kind, allowing users to directly connect and communicate with restaurants in a new, more direct way. In addition to the ability to search wait times of nearby restaurants and remotely add a name to the wait list, NoWaits consumer app allows diners to view and track their overall plan in the line and communicate with the restaurant through their cell phones. NoWait is planning on a wider roll out of the consumer app to cities across the country in 2014.

Our consumer app offers a service unlike any other currently available, and with the addition of social media integration, were continuing to build a new channel for restaurants and consumers to connect, said NoWait CEO Ware Sykes. This local app is a model for what we soon plan to roll out across the country.

Since its initial roll out in Pittsburgh, NoWaits dining app has maintained a 97% approval rating among users, and the app has decreased the time diners spend waiting in restaurants from up to 90 minutes down to 5 minutes.

Restaurants have been equally pleased, with many remarking that their dining service is more efficient and that their customers happier. At first, we were a bit nervous to use NoWait, thinking that we would be losing control over our wait lists, but we found that the app was far better than we were at quickly and efficiently seating customers, said Jimmie Kuhl of Burgatory Bar in Pittsburgh, PA.

NoWaits consumer app is an extension of the companys app for restaurants, which is used in thousands of restaurants across the U.S. from major chains like Chilis and TGI Fridays to popular independent hot spots like Iron Chef Jose Garces Village Whiskey in Philadelphia and Hubert Kellers Burger Bar in Las Vegas. The app has currently seated more than 21 million diners across the country.

NoWaits consumer dining app update will be available for download in the App sore on Tuesday, Nov. 26 here(https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/nowait-restaurant-guide-wait/id691617940).
