Have you ever had a pain in your back that just wouldn't go away. I sure did, for the last 20 years of my life! I have tried just about everything on the market to try and relieve and manage my pain. I have done exercise, stretching, and back care yoga, seen Chiropractors, Physical Therapists, and Massage Therapists they have all helped a little, but I still struggled between appointments throughout the week. And my wallet was being drained by co-pays!

Many times a day I found myself trying to stretch out sore muscles, even rubbing my back against corners of walls to try and get a little relief. About 5 years ago my Massage Therapist suggested I use a tennis ball against a wall to rub out sore muscles. This did help to work out sore spots. However I was frustrated that it would take me nearly 30 minutes to work out the kinks on both sides of my back. A long and slow process.

Then the lightbulb went on and I put 2 tennis balls in a sock to speed up use. This was an improvement, but I struggled to get the balls into the right spot. A shoulder injury on my right side didn't allow me to get the balls comfortably to my upper back anymore.

Watching my father-in-law struggle to move my sock of balls around to work out some sore spots was all the inspiration I needed to try and figure out some kind of hand holds for the device.
