The plan for treatment needs to be based on the severity of the symptoms, the amount of distress and also the patient's preference inside the BPH patients, inform the individual regarding the risks and benefits associated with the procedure, and involve the person on the development of the treatment solution.

For patients with mild symptoms (like IPSS < 7), it is strongly recommended to alter lifestyle and await observation. If the symptoms are mild and the patient is seriously afflicted, further examination is necessary.

While TCM (Traditional Chinese Medicine) believes that kidney Yang deficiency, Yin and Yang disorders, Yang deficiency, cold coagulation, poor circulation of blood, blood stasis, leading to prostate hyperplasia.

Therefore, TCM advocates that kidney Yang will be the crux, blood stasis is the appearance, and the symptoms along with the root causes. For example, the TCM formula Diuretic and Anti-inflammatory Pill has outstanding effects on the treatments for benign prostatic hyperplasia, especially at early stages.

They believe the natural herbs can effectively regulate the function of human urogenital system, plus blood circulating, lump softening and dispersing, heat clearing and detoxifying ingredients, it might dispel prostate congestion and edema, and help hyperplasia soften and shrink, restoring its normal physiological function.
