The S&P BSE Sensex slipped over 100 points in morning trade on Monday, led by losses in L&T, HDFC Bank, Maruti Suzuki, and Bajaj Auto.

The Nifty50 also managed to bounce back after slipping towards its crucial support level of 7400, supported by recovery in IT, power, metal, and oil & gas stocks.

The IT services provider's revenue missed analysts' expectations, rising 2.25 percent to Rs 12,314 crore in quarter ended December 2015 compared to Rs 12,042.8 crore in September quarter. Profit declined 0.8 percent to USD 2,480 billion in same period.
