Proving all the allegation wrong, Dr. Nowhera Shaik and her Company has repaid more than 3 Lakh investors
As all the company’s data was in custody Dr. Nowhera Shaik couldn’t repay the investor’s money. But as she received the data back from the custody, the repayment process is continuing at its pace. Heera Group has repaid more than 3 Lakh Investors to date, and many investors payment is in process.

Since 2008 Heera Group proposed a ‘Halal’ gold investment scheme, which investors guaranteed high returns every three months. Heera Group founder and CEO Nowhera Shaik arrested in 2018 in connection to an alleged Ponzi scheme, with investigators reporting that over 175,000 people invested in the scheme totaling payments of Rs 3,000 crore ($413 million). Investors can’t withdraw their investment and eventually saw dividends dwindle.

Heera Group is one of those companies in India which provides investment based on Islamic teachings. Therefore being Muslims, it is an imperative platform for us as an investor.
For the last ten years, the organization has survived and has a good track history of paying dividends to all investors frequently. There are thousands of investors across India, and many widows and disabled are dependants on monthly income from this company. But for the last few months, Dr. Nowhera Shaikh caught in particular political collusion, due to this, the complete functioning of the business attacked. While coming out of jail, Dr. Nowhera Shaik promised that the group would return the investors’ money and continue her businesses. But, Dr. Nowhera Shaik said that the repayment means could only start after getting information from the data center occupied by the city police and still in charge of the Central Crime Station (CCS). Many powers are hindering Dr. Nowhera Shaik’s way so that repayment to investors gets delayed.

“My company has sufficient resources like gold, properties, and other sources to return the money,” she said in a press conference after being released from a Mumbai jail. “Once the CCS police hand over [to] us the data center pertaining to the customers’ details the company shall start rolling out repayment process to the investors.”

Dr. Nowhera Shaik reportedly stated that both the figures and the number of investors declared are inaccurate but will have to check the data to know the correct figures. It will occur in the next two weeks once the department and data are returned over.

Dr. Nowhera Shaik had before asserted that the CCS police had destroyed software during the raid at Heera Gold’s office at Banjara Hills, Hyderabad, resulting in the loss of investor lists.
