Vikson.in, the popular name in online share trading, provides an insight about what they think is in store for commodities this festive season.

December 09, 2014, Mumbai: In recent discussions held by the organizations that play an important role in online trading shares, it was revealed as to what were the expectations from the trading community and what reaction they generally observed from traders during the festive season. Celebratory and languid emotions ride high at this time and most people are not too bothered about the slump or rise in the markets, unless they are highly significant. Talking about this trend, Mr. V. Kumar, one of the principal promoters of Vikson.in and one of the most reputed names in this industry pointed out a few facts.

He stated, “While it may be true that the Western counterparts experienced a certain slack in their online share trading, Indians saw a significant rise in such dealings, thanks to the wedding season being a boom from August till the early days of the next year. That is why, precious metal prices such as gold and silver have never dipped in the past five years and there are heavy trades that continue to take place in this arena. Farming activities are also carried out in full earnest at this time so that the crops are well-nourished and available for consumption the following year. Grains such as wheat have also fared quite well in the share market for the past few years.”

Mr. V Kumar further pointed that spices such as cardamom and cloves are in high demand for natural consumption and as ingredients in various recipes. These too have enjoyed a steady demand and trading in the share market for quite some time now and they are expected to yield good returns on trading, both long and short-term. Although gold prices have never dropped in the market, there has been a steady decline observed in the demand for the metal itself, over the past few months. Most Indian customers are already quite saturated with gold and gold products and hence, the reason for the decline in demand.

He also said that festival and marriage seasons are times when people prefer having sweet, lingering flavors in their mouths. To achieve this effect, sugar mills are working extra time to meet the increased demand for sugar in all forms. Along similar lines, jaggery too has captured the interest of worldwide investors and both commodities have seen an increase of about 6-9% in per/kg prices and are expected to do so for the next few months.

It was evident that with such in-depth knowledge about the market and various commodities along with the nature of the buyers and sellers of both national and international markets, Vikson.in continues to provide exemplary services to their clients at all times of the ear via phone, texts and emails. There was a generally excited and positive feel about the press meet due to the expected rise in trade in most commodities this year.
