How to select the right ironing board?

Cost - The cost depends on the type of brand and workmanship. If special features are included, it may cost more.
Board size - This too can vary with the brands and the styles. Freestanding boards can carry a width of 33 to 48 cm. Drawer Ironing Board has a much smaller length than other variants. The wider board means more space. Opt for this only if you are a regular user of large-sized clothes.
Height- The board should be of a height that is at the level of the hips. This is when you are standing up. An ideal size is between 70 to 92 cm.
Sturdiness - The board should be sturdy to take the weight. It means that the same should be able to handle your weight when pressing the dresses. Cheaper boards squeak and may even move.
