Germination:
*For cotton, we have to use the gloomy soil rich in organic matter which is black to deep black.
*Cotton seed is used plant in uniform intervals
After seed is planted, it takes 5 to 10 days to germinate.
*it will appears as sprout
*Sprouts have two leaves called cotyledon which helps in photosynthesis.
Seedling:
*Now the cotyledon will help the roots to grow.
*When the root system has developed, the leaves begins to appear.
*It takes 2-4 weeks
Square (bud) :
*Flower buds called as square.
*It will appears on the plant within 5 to 7 weeks.
*White flower signals to begin the process of pollination.
*It starts within 24 hrs of bud appearance.
Boll:
*At this time the cotton fibers raised.
*Cotton grow from seeds inside the boll.
*When the boll stop growing, it will fill with cellulose .
Mature plant:
*After the cellulose has filled the boll.
*The boll bursts out, it will open and the cotton spills out.
Harvesting period:
*After 25 weeks, the cotton ready to harvest
