The Orbis School conducts a series of Career Counseling Programmes for young students

• Special career counseling programme series is being conducted by Orbis school for class 9th and 10th students to encourage them to make wise choices and focus on their goals.

 
The Orbis School hosted the first 3 sessions in the series of special counseling programmes for young minds. The first session was conducted by Mrs. Divya Dubey, an expert Career Counselor, who guided and explained to the students of classes 9 and 10 about the various professional options available to them after school and college and the eligibility criterion in the various fields of professional life. She also shed light on what subjects to choose and what exams to write to get there.
Another inspiring session was conducted by Wing Commander Sharad Sharma of the Indian Air Force, to give a good insight into the joys, discipline, pride, challenges, achievements that his profession offers. The awestruck students asked many questions to the fighter pilot about the life, duties, kinds of aircrafts and real life experiences. Many students expressed their dream to be a brave soldier in the armed forces.
The third workshop was conducted by Mrs. Fehmida from Times NIE, who dealt with the details of career choices this generation of students have by listing them alphabetically from A to Z, like Archaeologist, Biologist, Camera professionals or Chemist, and so on.
While talking about this Career Counseling Programme, Mrs. Mala Jetly, Principal of the Orbis School said, "What career to pursue after college and how to get there is a question that all young students are confronted with. This programme will help students to make an informed decision, which will guide them to their calling.”.
