The Western Ghats lie between Konkan and the Deccan Plateau. There are many rivers in Goa, the major ones being Zuari, Mandovi, Chapora kushavati river, Terekhol, and Sal. River Zuari has the harbor Mormugao on it, which is widely considered to be the best harbor in all of South Asia. Goa has a tropical monsoon climate.
