Programme on Information Technology Governance for Business Growth of Cooperative Banks (In collaboration with Andaman & Nicobar State Cooperative Bank) At Port Blair, Andamans : 26th - 28th August, 2015

 
The acceleration in technology has produced an extraordinary effect upon our economy in general has had a particularly profound impact in expanding the scope and utility of financial products over the last ten years. Information technology has made possible the creation, valuation, and exchange of complex financial products on a global basis and even that just in recent years. In this era of stiff competition, most of the large and medium sized UCBs , DCBs , SCBs are now users of CBS.

The use of Technology for governance in competitive environment for Cooperative banks is need of the hour . The Cooperative banks therefore have to identify the business parameters to monitor performance from various perspectives viz. Financial, Customer, Internal operations and learning 8:, innovation. The business strategy and information Technology strategy alignment would immensely help every Cooperative bank. The successful implementation of core banking solution has helped many UCBs 81, DCBs to increase their customer base, low cost deposits, per employee business, reduce cost of transaction thereby increasing productivity and profitability.

The training programme is therefore exclusively planned for Cooperative banks to make aware of importance of IT Governance at bank level to increase the utilization of information technology for business growth in terms of customer base, branches, productivity and profitability. We therefore request you to nominate representatives of your bank / department with the course fee latest by 10"* July 2015. The admissions for this programme will be on first come first served basis. The details of the programme are enclosed.

Programme methodology:

The programme will have an appropriate blend of group discussion, classroom sessions, demonstration and experience sharing.

Participants: Chairmen, Board Members, Managing Directors, General Managers, Chief Executive Officer 8a Senior Officers, Officers from Cooperative Departments, General Managers, Development Officers and other Officers working under ICDP.

Venue : Port Blair, Andamans.

Duration : Three days ( 26-28 August, 2015)

Fees: The course fee is 25,000/- per participant on twin sharing basis which includes boarding, lodging charges of the participants, cost of programme material, visits, etc. The course fee for single occupancy basis is ? .34,000/- per participant.

Travel cost: The sponsoring Cooperative bank / Cooperative Department have to meet the travel cost for to 8:. fro journey.

Nominations: Nomination in the enclosed format duly accompanied with a Bank Draft of .25,000/- (Double Occupancy basis ) and .34,000/- (Single Occupancy basis ) per participant through Demand Draft drawn in favour of the Director, VAMNICOM Pune' payable at Pune on any nationalized bank or through NEFT on following details may be sent to Dr. Y. S. Patil, Programme Director on or before 10th July ,2015.

Spouse charges: The participants accompanying with spouse have to remit .16,000/- separately thzcugh Demand Draft drawn in favour of Director, VAMNICOM, Pune payable at Pune on any nationalized bank or may be sent through NEFT/ RTGS on following details with intimation of UTR through SMS or e-mail. The complete nomination may be sent to DR. Y. S. PATIL, PROGRAMME DIRECTOR on or before 10th July, 2015.
