Kedarnath Trek Photography Contest is a competition started by the Uttarakhand Tourism Development Board that boasts people to show their perspective through lens that represent the serenity and tranquility. UTDB invites people to participate in the Online Photography Contest and share their best shots that will help regain the long lost glory of these sites. There is no entry fee necessary to take entry in this competition.
This contest will not only help tourists enjoy the treks of Uttarakhand but also help them explore the surroundings of Kedarnath Dham. Uttarakhand Tourism is seeking participants to showcase and capture the picturesque beauty of Kedarnath Dham.
There are various categories of this contest that includes Nature and Landscape, Hardships overcome by faith and determination by pilgrims and yatra organizing staff, monuments around Kedarnath temple, local cuisine, flora and fauna and Himalayan around Kedarnath. Eligibility for the contest includes 3 photographs per participant, one main photograph of Kedarnath Trek showcasing its beauty and hardship.
The contest will begin on 24.05.2019 at 11 AM and will conclude 30.06.2019 at 5 PM. Participants with the beautiful shots will be given the ‘Best Shot of the week’. 3 winners will be selected by Judges of the committee of UTDB and will be given cash prizes of Rs. 51000/-, Rs. 21000/- and Rs. 11000/- to the first, second and third winners respectively.
