Wanting to generate excitement prior to the launch of their first undersea residence, world famous luxury group Conrad Hotels & Resorts teamed up with Virtual Reality company Untitled Project to provide aspiring guests with a taste of what The Muraka was all about. To properly convey The Muraka experience, Untitled Project harnessed their VR knowhow to craft a 360-degree Virtual Reality experience complete with photorealistic CGI animation and architectural visualisation of the then-unfinished residence, along with the rich coral and marine life the Maldives is famous for. The VR experience was rolled out internationally across specially targeted areas and became an overnight viral sensation reaching over 2.8 billion online.

• Launching New Products
To promote the release of their new whisky in Asia, The Singleton of Glen Ord, spirits giant Diageo was determined to appeal to a younger generation of whisky drinkers. To accomplish this, Diageo partnered up with Untitled Project and The Global Brand Team, and together they developed the world’s Virtual Reality whisky tasting experience. By combining VR with a guided, virtual whisky tasting, consumers were able to immerse themselves in an engaging, multi-sensory experience that transported them to the heart of brand’s story. The entire VR experience proved to be a success for both Diageo and Untitled Project alike; so much so that it won them three awards at that year’s Marketing Magazine Markies and Marketing Events Awards.

• Promoting Existing Offerings
What better way to change people’s low expectations of low-cost airlines than letting them experience it for themselves? In their collaboration with Singapore’s Scoot airlines, Untitled Project crafted a Virtual Reality journey took viewers on a virtual tour of one of Scoot’s flagship Being 787 Dreamliners where they got to experience what it’s like flying with Scoot. The success of the experience’s pilot in Singapore meant that the pop-up VR experience zones were subsequently expanded across a total of nine territories throughout the Asia-Pacific region.
