Universal Group of Institutions celebrated Nurses Day on 12th May, 2022 on the theme “Nurses: A voice to Lead- Invest in Nursing and respect rights to secure global health”.

Universal Institute of Nursing organised 3 days program on the eve of Nurses Day. Health Camp was organised in nearby villages of Ambala by Faculty and students of UIN for spreading awareness on 10th May. Poster making competition on Nurses Day was organised on 11th May for students of UIN.
On 12th May 2022, A seminar was organised on the theme, “Nurses: A voice to Lead- Invest in Nursing and respect rights to secure global health”. Dr Vasantha kalyani, Principal AIIMS Deoghar was guest speaker. A Pledge was taken by all the students and faculties of Universal Institute of Nursing to highlight the important roles, responsibilities and things to keep in mind in nursing profession. Students performed Pahari Nati, Punjabi Gidda and Haryanvi Dance.

After the completion of the celebration, the Health Camp was organized by UIN for Faculty of UGI by ACU Life Heath Check-up in association with TIENS. In this camp almost 30 faculties of UGI have done their complete health check-up. The full body check- up done by the ACU Life device to identify the health issues and they also provided solutions to their concerned problem.

Dr. Gurpreet Singh, Chairman, The Universal Group of Institutions congratulate the students and faculty of Nursing for conducting various programs in a systematic way. He appreciated the efforts of Faculty and students for organising Health Camp and spreading awareness among villagers. He also shared that Nurses play an important role in the medical sector and have been crucial COVID warriors, fighting at the forefront of the pandemic since 2020. We should honour nurses and appreciate their extraordinary contribution. He urged the budding Nursing students to dedicate their work to humanity and provide best service to the nation.
