Flamingo Transworld, Ahmedabad based Tour Operator, has recently celebrated their 20th anniversary in a unique way. In the last 20 years, Flamingo has gone from being a 3 person ticketing company to Gujarat’s largest tour operator with a team of more than 200 people. Extremely delighted with their packages, they decided to share the happiness of this success with Senior Citizens members from different old age homes in Ahmedabad, Anand, Baroda & Surat.

On 19th December 2015, 10 different coaches with more than 500 Senior Citizens left Ahmedabad for a pilgrimage day trip to 3 different temples around Ahmedabad: the Ranchodraiji Temple at Dakor, the Swaminarayan Temple at Vadtal and the Siddhi Vinayak Temple at Mahemdabad. Each bus had one or two Flamingo volunteers to take care of all the needs and requirements of all the special guests. All the volunteers were extremely enthusiastic about the day. Mr. Raju Patel, who was leading the whole initiative on behalf of Flamingo, quoted “As tour operators, we have done lots of tours for others families, but this was the first tour in which we made families for ourselves. All of us are extremely blessed to have been a part of this event.”

The highlight of the day’s event was when all the senior citizen guests played Garba. It was a wonderful experience for all the guests and they showered all the vounteers with their blessings and best wishes. Mr. Sanjay Shah, the Managing Director of Flamingo quoted “We are very fortunate that with God’s Grace, our elders blessings and our customers support we have successfully completed 20 years we hope that with everyone’s blessings we hope to become India’s largest Tour Company.”
