Aluminium fencing truly beats competition in all respects. Modern powder coating technology produces aluminium in an amazing range of colours, designs and patterns.

As any civil contractor will tell you, there's plenty of fencing material to choose from each with its own characteristics and economics but overtime, there's nothing that beats aluminium fencing in terms of aesthetics, economy and maintenance for any type of building.

Traditionally, Australians opted for timber fencing. Initially, this looks good but timber as you might imagine, requires a lot of maintenance and generally begins to crumble to little bits by the 10th year or so. Timber therefore provides temporary beauty at best and is very uneconomical at worst besides of course, environmental and carbon footprint costs.

Chain link and iron net or barbed wire fencing is next on the Australian traditional fencing material. It was cheaper than timber and purely a quick-fix solution. Unfortunately not only was the aesthetics poor (even when new), it got progressively worse as the iron corroded and once corroded, handling it was very troublesome and then of course; it had to be replaced. So iron did not make much sense but then, the only other option was steel which was frightfully expensive so in reality and until decade back, there wasn't much of a choice. Today there is – Aluminium!

Aluminium fencing truly beats competition in all respects. Modern powder coating technology produces aluminium in an amazing range of colours, designs and patterns. Today, Cheap Fences can even be made to look like timber and add the aesthetics of timber to your fencing for any type of building or property.

Being super light-weight, it is easy to transport, lift and install in place. It looks beautiful when new and 10 years later, it still looks beautiful! Aluminium does not corrode and the powder coating ensures that the top layer does not oxidise – keeping it looking as new as the day it was installed.

Aluminium as a raw material is available in abundance and at a cheaper price than similar materials such as iron. It is easier to process and costs less to turn it into all kinds of products. An aluminium fencing is therefore much cheaper than iron or steel. Add the aesthetics of powder coated Glass Pool Railings, its duration, its economy and what you end up with is a fencing that is not only looks good and is easy to install; it is also long lasting (probably out-last us as well), thereby making it the most viable and economic material to use for a fence.

Is Aluminium as strong as steel or iron? Maybe not but we doubt any human can casually break through an aluminium fencing. To put things in prospective, a determined human can break through any fence even iron and steel so let’s not get carried away about iron and steel being stronger.

So if you need a good-looking, long lasting, strong fence that also makes economic sense, go for Aluminium – it will improve the aesthetic value of any building or property.
