Video has emerged of a groom squeezing the legs of female wedding guests while blindfolded - as part of a bizarre Polish tradition.

The footage, said to have been captured in Ontario, Canada, shows a number of women - including the bride - sitting on chairs and waiting for the newlywed to pass.

Blindfolded and being helped along by a another man, he stops at each female guest and uses his hands to feel their bare legs, knees and thighs.

The groom, dressed in a dinner jacket, eventually reaches his wife and manages to identify her before pulling off his blindfold and leaning in for a kiss while guests cheer him on.

A description of a video posted on YouTube claims the footage shows a Polish wedding tradition called 'Who is the bride?'

It also says the video was taken in a convention centre in Ontario, Canada.

The footage comes a day after bizarre footage emerged of a Chinese newlywed allowing guests to molest her during the ceremony - apparently to raise money for her honeymoon.

Video said to have been captured in northern China showed male revellers lining up and paying to grope the 'bride' during the wedding festivities. The funds collected were reportedly then used to pay for the happy couple's honeymoon.

However, the identity of the woman is not yet known and some of those who viewed the video online suggested she was in fancy dress and that the footage was actually taken in a Thai cabaret night club filled with Chinese tourists.
