Here is our top list of e-commerce solutions for any business of your choice.

BigCommerce
This is best e-commerce platform overall. It is perfect for small and large scale businesses but, it is mostly ideal for large businesses with lots of products to sell and an already established customer base. It has a very robust service engine that makes it perfect for large conglomerates.
This platform is also perfect for new startups and small businesses looking to expand there brand and online selling market. This platform really has what it takes to make any niche or industry successful.
Their interface makes use of high end responsive theme designs and templates that are entirely customizable and compactible with mobile devices. Anybody with any web development skills or background can actively design their website with zero difficulty. This is one big kudos to BigCommerce. Even if you still have some web development experience, you can still play around with the HTML and CSS programs.
Also, in case you run into a problem along the way, BigCommerce has a huge community of web developers with loads of experience in that field. So, you simply need to reach out to them to get sorted out. This is excluding the help you will get from the normal customer support services.
Ok, I know what you are thinking. Using a platform this good will definitely burn a hole in your pocket. Well, that's not true because BigCommerce pricings are actually quite affordable. The lowest plan with BigCommerce costs only $29.95/month and it includes all the awesome features that comes along with a state of the art online store. Some of which includes; checkout codes, gift cards and unlimited bandwidth.
Pros
1. It is extremely fexible and scalable
2. It suppoets multi-channel selling
3. Provides SEO services
4. Awesome themes and responsive templates
4. Has an abandoned cart recovery feature
Cons
1. Varying speeds from different research study
2. Gets more expensive for huge businesses
3. Abandoned cart recovery is only available for higher plans.
4. Does not support 1-click Selling/Upsells
Shopify
The next on our list is Shopify. Now, some might even say that Shopify is actually the best platform for selling and honestly, you cannot really find fault in such statements. When it comes to e-commerce and online selling, believe me when I tell you this, they have definitely made their mark on earth. They are very proficient in dropshippping and social media marketing. If you own a business that relies on Facebook advertising and marketing on Instagram, then Shopify is your go-to e-commerce solution. However, as awesome as they sound, I still would not recommend Shopify for large businesses with a huge amount of products to sell. Neither would I recommend them for businesses that are dependent on search engine optimization (SEO for short). Nevertheless, they are still a good choice for both small or large businesses as long as you have your priorities straight.
Furthermore, unlike BigCommerce, this platform actually supports one click Upsells but, they are lacking in terms of speed and performance, using BigCommerce as a reference.
In addition, setting up a website with Shopify is also not that big of a deal. They make use of the infamous drag and drop tool that most newbies to website development are accustomed to. Even if they are not, it sure as hell won't take them up to 5 minutes to get used to the tool.
Wait, it still gets better.....Shopify also has a list of apps on their appstore that you can use to improve the look, feel, appearance and performance of your online store. The number of apps on this store is endless. Some are accessible for free, while some are paid for. Some are added automatically to the kind of plan/subscription you are going in for.
With the all new and easy tonise Shopify POS, small businesses or stores can now payments using the Shopify mobile app. Mind you, it is not only restricted to these brick and mortar online stores.
Pros
1. Super fast load time
2. It is very easy to set-up
3. Also has a huge community foe support and assistance.
4. Can support 1-Click selling
5. Excels in multi channel and social media selling
6. Great responsive themes with awesome designs and templates.
Cons
1. It kimd of sucks with SEO management. You can tell from the amount of reviews it was on the net.
2. Does not support customization of your checkout process
3. Not all apps are offered for free on shopify.
4. For more advanced development features, you definitely need a pro by your side.
3dcart
Fun fact here; Did you know that 3dcart was first launched in the year 2001? Well, now you do. In the space of what?? 19 years perhaps, this e-commerce solution has served over 25,000 businesses of all shapes and sizes. No wonder it has made its way to our list.
This e-commerce solution isn't just all talk. They have some really cool features that can get your heart racing with excitement. Some of which includes unlimited storage and support for multi channel selling. Also, did I mention that they also support a POS payment system and do not charge any transaction fees like some e-commerce platforms we know...LOL.
However, in areas like performance and speed, they do not really excel like the first two we have on list. This platform is way older than either of them and it was obviously designed with the best technology as at that time. Now it's 2020 and as we know it, technology has far surpassed its limitations at that time.
Also, 3dcart also pales in ease of use, look feel and design. Creating a website with 3dcart is not as flexible as when you are using Shopify or BigCommerce. Mostly because there is no drag and drop website building tool. On the bright side, they also have a huge community/forum that can help you sort out whatever issue you may have with the platform.
Pros
1. They have the best blogging feature
2. Can support most of the Integrations you need to run an online store
3. Supports a wide range of business management tools like email and inventory.
Cons
1. Not the best templates in the business.
2. Not the best customer support service
Thats it for our top e-ommerce solutions. Hope you had a good read.
