Recently TiedIn Media created a website for former NY Yankee and World Series Champ, Cecil Fielder. This sports icon had little to no online presence and needed a place where people could go to learn more about his life after the NY Yankees and give fans a way to book him for events.
This website had to be all about Cecil while including what he is best known for, baseball. Cecil Fielder’s new website offers links to his stats as well as a short history of his career. This allows his fans to get accurate information on him. As important as Cecil’s past is, the reason for this website was mainly to portray where Cecil is in his life now, which is why links to his charity work and ways to book him are featured directly on the homepage. Since most fans know about his stats and what teams he’s played for, it is more important for them to easily find out about what he’s up to now.
As for the overall look of the website, we went with the classic dark blue and white to pay homage to his roots as a NY Yankee.
