This Press Release intends to inform the readers that Joe Girouard marketed a special line of paint and stationeries.

Joe Girouard is a real estate professional who is also a skillful artist. He uses his free time to create art and work on his paintings. His greatest contribution to the field of art has been his effort to resurface the historical art form ‘alla prima’ or ‘direct painting’ which was earlier famous by the name ‘wet-on-wet’ technique. Though oil painters have been using this technique since the 16th century, the art form lost its popularity during the later centuries until Girouard made efforts for its resurgence. In addition to popularizing the technique, Joe also marketed a special line of paints and stationeries to make it handy for new painters.

Joe Girouard eventually became a lot more involved in painting to the point that he started earning more by selling his painted gold pans than he did at his job as a real estate professional. It was only then that he chose to give up that job and pursue painting.

About Joe Girouard

Joe Girouard was a celebrated, creative Australian painter and an art instructor who developed a taste for art during his early real estate career when he attended an art class at the Anchorage USO Club, which led him to find his real calling in life. From being a break-time painter during the real estate job to a full-time art instructor on television, Girouard’s interest and dedication brought him fame and glory.

Joe was an inspiration for not just the pre-internet generation of artists who followed him religiously, but also the post-internet generation of artists who consider him an iconic celebrity painter.
