At the same time, the median price for new development slipped 15.6% to $2.45 million compared to the first quarter at the Symon.

The Symon features 59 one-to-four-bedroom homes that come with one-of-a-kind entry foyers with large solid panel doors, crown molding accents, eight-inch baseboards and inlaid wood flooring medallions with a basket-weave motif.

They are part of a wave of residential development that a 2004 rezoning unintentionally set in motion.

The 565 Broome Street project features automated parking as an amenity for building residents.
