This curated collection showcases fiction titles, themed book box subscriptions, blind date with a book, and book-themed merchandise. The Reading Chamber aims to be a hub for readers looking to expand their independently published repertoire.
“I’ve wanted to open a YA-only bookstore since I was twelve,” said owner Jessica Taylor. “I always found that young adult sections were either too small or only had titles that were popular. Some of my favorite books are not as well-known and I wanted to share my love of this category with other readers like me.”
Taylor graduated from University of North Carolina Wilmington with a creative writing degree and a publishing certificate to pursue helping authors achieve their publishing dreams. She worked in hybrid publishing for over six years and developed a passion for the independently published novelist and women empowerment. The Reading Chamber also highlights merchandise from women-owned small businesses that aren’t available through larger chains.
As an online-only bookstore, The Reading Chamber is accessible to readers throughout the United States. Fellow book lovers are encouraged to check out the website www.thereadingchamber.com for more information and find their next favorite read!
