21th October 2021, Australia: - CSQ, Construction Skill Queensland, is an independent funded body aimed to support employers, workers, apprentices and career seekers, has lately collaborated with The Operator School as a supplier of training equipment for the excavator, skid steer loader, front end loader, roller, backhoe and forklift licence courses.

The Operator School offers several high-risk work licences on Forklift, order picker, earthmoving, and heavy vehicles.

The Operator School accommodates efficient, easy to follow training and fast certificates who are rushed to obtain their licence. It has major credits on its forklift ticket or excavator licence

Its sister registered training organisation, The Driving School (RTO No: 32261), offers a comprehensive range of heavy vehicle driving licences, from Light Rigid truck licences to multi-combination for Queensland and New South Wales licence holders (all gearbox codes).

Terms of CSQ Funding
It can be a huge opportunity for both employed and unemployed within the building and construction industry. Depending on the candidate’s eligibility, CSQ funding can exceed up to $1,500 that includes the full cost of your machinery training ($500 per machine to a maximum of 3). However, it offers subsidized funding ($446) on offer for the forklift.

CSQ funding avails funding programs to support apprentices within the building and construction industry. The program ensures employees work on the site by accommodating tickets (if necessary). According to the current CSQ funding policy, it states two pathways for apprentices or trained to privilege the CSQ funding:

1.If you are an apprentice or trainee who completed CSQ recognised apprenticeship or traineeship and equally fulfils the criteria, you will qualify for the apprentice Advanced Plus Program and fully subsidised training (whereas you don’t need to pay extra fees for your course).
2.If you are an apprentice or trainee who has collaborated in the QLD building and construction industry, but is disqualified from the CSQ recognised qualification list, you may still qualify for CSQ funding— but you need to pay the usual gap fees.

CSQ funding is based on a first come first strategy which means you can get funds until it runs out. However, you cannot privilege extra discounts when taking advantage of CSQ funding.
