We receive several imaginative requests as specialty bakers of decorated cookies: some are nostalgic, some are funny and some are simply kooky! We thought we would share some of our more interesting ideas, and see if they would inspire any fresh and fun ideas for your next party or get-together.

Ideas for Decorated Cookies for Weddings and Showers

Without a shadow of a doubt, bridal showers, bachelorette parties and wedding ceremonies are some of our most popular cookie activities. Those make great party favors, goodie bag giveaways and even place cards for any person looking for something special for their case!

On one occasion, a soon-to-be bride who had a big wedding party ordered cookies filled with a selection of our "Edible Beauty," and had the delicious dresses customized to suit the dress and shoes of each bridesmaid. Small matching tuxedos were customized to the names of the groomsmen, and they made a game of finding their partners while blindfolding based on a guessing game. To the wedding party, it was a perfect ice breaker, some of whom had not been acquainted with each other before the gathering.

Another fun proposal emerged at a baby shower for customized decorated cookies. The mother-to-be purchased several favorites from our "Cuddly Bear" cookie boxes. Many of the cookies, and some tubes of decorator icing, were given to guests at the party. They had a fun game talking about future baby names, writing the names on the cookies and playing baby bingo afterwards!

The game was great, the parents had some brilliant ideas for the brand new name of their baby and at the end of the event everyone enjoyed a tasty treat.
