Cats don’t seem to need a lot. They would be happy if you give them their basic needs. But still, many cat parents worry about the welfare of their indoor cat.

Here are some tips that will help you keep your indoor cat healthy and happy:

1.Give your cat the best view.

The favorite activity of most indoor cats is to look out the window. You can get a cat tower or a catio for your pet so they can freely have a view of the outside world. Open up the catio so your cat can also get some much-needed outdoor time.

2.Make sure you offer healthy food options.

Know the differences between different food types and brands. Cats need a healthy balance of food. They should have fiber sources, fish meals, and meat by-products. Consider offering variety to know what your cat likes. For instance, you can give wet cat food and if that isn’t received well, switch to dry cat food.

3.Play with your cat.

It’s a way for you to bond with your cat and it also encourages your cat to exercise. This can help obesity, which is a common problem with indoor cats.

Don’t forget to take your cat to a Kamloops vet clinic. At least once a year, take your cat to a Kamloops vet clinic such as The Cat Hospital of Kamloops. This can help prevent health issues from occurring and if the vet finds something wrong with your cat, they can provide prompt treatment to increase the chances of recovery.
