The Texas Team Pickleball League, operated by Supreme Court Pickleball, was founded by Beth Mahler, who drew from her years of experiential marketing and events to inspire our vibrant pickleball community. With the early support of dedicated volunteers and key influencers, the league is emerging as the premier league, putting players' experiences first and crafting a welcoming environment for players of all skill levels. "We are hopeful these victories will ignite a passion for pickleball in others and encourage the continued hypergrowth of the sport, “says Mahler. "As an official DUPR club, we're committed to promoting fair competition and cultivating champions through skill development and teamwork."
The Texas Team Pickleball League fosters inclusivity and camaraderie while emphasizing collaboration and fair play. This marks the first year that Texas teams have attended the NTPL Championships in their second year of existence. These victories put Texas on the national pickleball map but also showcase the competitive spirit shared with our national competitors from other states. As Captain Prasith Boon shared, "Competing at this level has shown us the strength of our community and the talent we have in Texas. Together, we're building something exceptional." By helping players grow not only as athletes but also as integral members of a supportive Texas pickleball family, we aim to strengthen our community and expand our league.
As the Texas pickleball community celebrates this monumental achievement, there is excitement for the accelerated growth of the sport and its potential to inspire others. The league's biggest challenge remains the lack of available courts to meet growing demand.
The Fall 2024 season is already underway, with the Texas Team Pickleball League expanding to new cities and launching FleX Leagues for individuals, offering both singles and fixed doubles partners. This is your opportunity to be part of a community that values inclusivity, skill development, and teamwork.
