Recently the Maggi had raisen serious issue and as it was proven unhealthy, it was banned in many cities. Still it was like a hot cake news and there was another issue with the energy drink Glucon-D. The drink was manufactured by an American company.
Worms were found in this energy drink. Bablu a resident of Bulandshahar in Uttarpradesh had bought two packs of Glucon-D. On drinking that the entire family suffered from nausea and fell sick after drinking. Later on their check up with the doctors, they said that wroms were found in the drink they have taken. With the help of sources, Laboratory tests revealed that worms were found in the product.
The victims complained, on the basis of their complaint food Safety officer Shivdas collected four samples of the product from the general store and sent them for testing to a lab in Lucknow.
