One of our fave chilled R&B favourites, Zilo is back with a steamy new single Be There Soon.
Fresh off the back of easily one of 2018’s best R&B albums, The Nature of The Beast, Zilo illustrates her sultry soulfulness on the new single.
After co-signs from the likes of Kehlani, Zilo truly is coming into her own and Be There Soon is a track that cements this. A genuine head bopper, Zilo effortlessly harmonises her way through the track. This is one you wanna play over again and again.
Melodically flawless, Be There Soon oozes sauce and will most definitely sizzle any summer’s day when it’s playing.
Track of the Week: Madi Saskia ‘Furthest’
An artist steadily evolving and making a name for herself, Madi Saskia comes through strong with her new single Furthest.
The Birmingham songstress provides a soothing slowjam that brilliantly illustrates Madi at her soulful best. Furthest tells the tale of love and its never ending challenges, touching on the complex dualities of finding love. Vocally impeccable, Madi draws a vivid picture lyrically sprinkled over heart-warming production.
When speaking on the song’s inspiration, Madi explains, “Being with a person with so many flaws and is so far from what you expect for yourself but then they turn out being the greatest thing for you.”
A slow-jam fit for any day of the week, Furthest, will get you all up in your feels.
